Bristol Palin was at the Saddle Ranch in September when she was heckled by a guy named Stephen Hanks. He called her mother “evil” and a “whore”. She responded by asking him if he hates her mother because he’s gay. She also said that she left Los Angeles for her hometown of Wasilla because of this particular incident.
As it turns out, Stephen wasn’t too thrilled with her putting his sexuality out there for reality show ratings, along with her saying that she left L.A. because of him. So, he is suing the “teen activist” (ha!) for an unspecified amount of damages.
He also claims that he never gave Lifetime or Bristol permission to use him in the footage for her reality show. He said that the aftermath of the incident in which she asked if he was gay has ruined his life.
The network should’ve done its due diligence in getting him to sign something to appear on her show. She really shouldn’t air his footage, anyways, just because it makes her look super ignorant. But perhaps that’s what she’s going for?!?
