It is time to refresh the garden with summer favorites. The winter garden turned out well. We had red lettuce, Romaine lettuce, Italian parsley and strawberries. The parsley made way for cucumber seedlings:
I replaced the lettuce with a cherry tomato plant. Can you see the little tomato near the bottom of the plant? We already have fruit!
The strawberries are still going strong and got a reprieve:
Also, the Romaine lettuce, as my 11-year-old son's favorite, got transplanted into a flower pot. Hopefully we can get a few more bowls of salad out of them before they bolt into flower.
Is there a way to grow corn in containers? I have the worst luck with corn!
