Ashley Greene was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up very close to her parents, Michelle and Joe, along with her brother, Joe. Ashley graduated when she was 17 and headed off to Hollywood to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.Ashley started modeling with Vision NYC and New Englands Model Group but still had the idea of becoming an actress in her mind. Ashley's dream was achived when she got a role in the movie "Home of the Brave". She has also had a small role in "King of California". Ashley had a guest appearance on the TV show "Crossing Jordan" as Ann Rappaport and on "Shark" as Natalie Faber. She got a role in "Desire: Tabel for three". Though it was regular one it was canceled after the first season. She starred in the music video for "Kiss Me, Kill Me" by Mest and has appeared on the MTV series "Punk'd."
In 2008, she was cast as Alice Cullen in Twilight (2008), the higly successful vampire film based on the novel of the same name. She will reprise that role in the sequels New Moon (2009) and Eclipse (2010).
Ashley ranked #68 on Maxim's 2009 Hot 100 list and won the Teen Choice Fresh Face Female award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
In August 2009 nude pictures of Ashley surfaced online and her attorney released a statement saying, "The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed.
